The new update comes with the firmware build number of 10.5.1.A.0.292. The aforementioned build comes with bug fixes and performance enhancements. No official change-log is released.
Since we already know KitKat for dishing out features such as white status bar icons, transparent stats and navigation bars, wireless printing, immersive mode, new location menu, color emoji support, full screen album art from the lock screen and movie art, we know the latter stages of KitKat don’t come with as many features.
Anyhow, many owners of the Xperia Z series are complaining about camera performance. There’s a chance that the new update does come with enhancements for the camera. Please let us know in the comments if you are using the new iteration already and what you are finding.
