Motorola is releasing a portal for customer help that displays each device under the Moto name including the Moto X, Moto G, Moto E, Droid Ultra, Droid Maxx and the Droid Mini. They specifically state that each device they plan on bringing the Lollipop experience to is listed on that page which means each of the aforementioned devices listed are all receiving the software coming soon. The page is staying around and users can check back each day and look for more details.

We know Android 5.0 Lollipop is coming with a new material design with emphasis on creating better graphics with flat 3D effects, new notifications and more. The folks out of the Googleplex showed us the software earlier in October after initially coming out as a Developer preview since mid-year from the unveiling at the Google I/O event.

Since Google went public and announced the software is coming along with the Nexus 9 and Nexus 6, Motorola were one of the first manufacturers to put their hand up and say they want the software. That put them in a great position to land the new OS before most others after the deals were made. Let’s not forget that Google owned the Motorola company last year before selling off to Lenovo this year. In addition, the Lenovo company are not making huge headlines for US-based smartphones just yet.

The support page shows the Moto X 1st and 2nd generation, Moto G 1st and 2nd generation and the Moto G with 4G LTE. Moreover, there’s only one Moto E. There’s no official word when the release date for 5.0 Lollipop is coming for any of the devices in question. We still don’t know the exact date set in stone for the nexus range coming this year, although rumors are suggesting it’s happening very soon. Don’t be shocked to find it rolling out OTA as soon as next week by early November.
