The Google Nexus 6 continues on from a successful Nexus smartphone and tablet series that is constantly referred to as the best value for money or other clichés like “best smartphone money can buy”. They added value bonus comes from the fact that Google own Nexus just like Google own Android. That means Google give quality hardware inside these devices for a fraction of the cost they would normally distribute it to other devices. Furthermore, it also means they update these devices with new versions of Android first. Given the large upside these Nexus devices have, it’s incredible they aren’t more popular than what they are. In my opinion, the reason for that is probably the design. It’s never a futuristic design that looks like its breaking ground anywhere near the same level as the internal hardware and software is most times.
