The HTC Desire 510 comes with Android 4.4 KitKat out of the box. The Desire 510 gives you a budget device that is still surrounded by a pretty shell, making it look a great deal more modern than some of the older devices and keeping it on track with the other handsets from the Desire range ahead of its class.
The HTC Desire 510 comes with a custom Sense UI that makes OTA updates roll out traditionally a bit slower than they would from other manufacturers. That’s only an issue if you don’t like the Sense UI, and you could always update via a custom ROM.
The Desire 510 is underpinned by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC which is also 64-bit capable. It’s a great buy if you cannot afford anything better and still want a device that looks great.
