The WiFi model of the Galaxy Tab 3 10.1 P5210 has just confirmed an update to XXUAMH1 Android 4.2.2 jelly Bean. This upgrade launched a few days ago and is now available for download manually.
If this is the first time you have used Android 4.2.2 then you will be greeted with changes right away from the lock screen. Gone is the Google Now widget that used to give quick access. It still exists, but you will get it now from the normal applications menu.
There’s some changes in the sound of the low battery and WiFi now. These will give you the sound of something different. Many people complained about the last sounds that it made. These aren’t exactly fantastic either in my opinion, but most people tend to prefer it. They do work with each other so that they sound like they are from the same kind of instrument. One of them is a higher pitch and the other a lower pitch.
The application menu will just appear like normal, and you will now scroll the screen by yourself and not being able to view the scroll bar that was included along the side. If you go to the top of this screen there will also be an option that lets you view the most recent ones used instead of the usual order in which they stand. Now if you are a person that uses some apps a lot of often than the other this order should appear a lot more preferable for you when it is listed in this way.
The clock and alarm widget is something that iOS mastered at a very early stage, and it seems the other have tried to play catch up ever since. This version now has made changes once again to try to be easier to use as well as use by setting times. It has inched closer to its competition and uses a similar scroll of the clock to allow users to set the time they want.
And of course lets not forget about the Sense 5 update that has rolled out in pieces depending on what device it is that you are using. HTC were a little late on the scene with this and I’m not too sure about tablets compared to handsets. Hopefully it will be there for you guys.
This update has been specially issued for the middle eastern region of the world because it gives extra Arabic language capabilities which weren’t previously available.
The XXUAMH1 firmware will eventually roll out to you via the settings if you are in the middle east. However, if you don’t want to wait for that you can also download it manually from the link below.
