The LG Optimus Sol was the first ever Android device to sport an AMOLED panel display at the front. To put it simply this type of display revolutionized an Android Smartphone to make it lighter weight and slim. Packed with a 1GHz processor, which was the processor to beat before today’s technology, it makes the LG Optimus Sol still a practical mid-range phone in today’s market.
This mobile has been with us since 2011 when we saw the first ever press renders leak around August. What we love about this phone is the Ultra AMOLED display it comes with and being 3.8-inch WVGA means it is visible in the trickiest of weather. It only has a single-core MSM8255 which gives out 1GHz of speed. Facing in the rear is a mounted 5-megapixel auto-focus camera. There is also one on the front of the less critical happy snaps as ell as video venturing. It is always handy, so you don’t need a mirror to show yourself off to people.
The warranty will be void the by continuing. Manufacturers install what called a flash counter inside of these devices before they get released to Phone carriers. When we flash a device this counter increases so the workers can tell what you have done. If they notice any foul play then they will not touch it because the hardware is sensitive, and they would constantly be getting phones sent back to them. That is also part of the reason they dislike roots, they do not want to deal with the troubleshooting aspects because it would require employing a lot more people and spending more money.
Backup personal call logs, MMS and SMS text, files if you want to keep them. Also, the contacts and any other sensitive data you do not want to risk losing. You will most likely have to use an external storage option after visiting the shops such as microSD, microSDHC because the internal storage space is only 1 GB for this handset. That is not enough space to do much with, and you probably will need more. Luckily using the SD card can give up to an additional 32 GB of space.
Enable USB Debugging first by navigating to Settings > Applications > Development > USB Debugging
When the Sol is brand new, the battery offered five hours, talk time and 16 days standby time. That means the battery is not too bad if you are not using the device, but if you are then it is near awful. The battery needs charging as much as possible or at least 90 % this time. Chances are you have owned it for a long time, and it has had lots of use by now and the battery will not last as long as the times I mentioned.
Install the latest USB Drivers if you come across any issues with connecting the device to the computer. It is the number one reason this occurs.
