Some manufacturers and OEMs may choose to refuse your warranty service that you paid for when purchasing the device if you have root access on your handset. That’s a small price to pay for the amount of joy root access can bring. Furthermore, most of the time you can unroot your device and make that warranty working again — assuming there is still some time on the agreement you had with the company like Huawei. In fact, we can tell you from experience that most Huawei devices do come with unrooting guides that make the warranty work. That’s because Huawei don’t have any extra security in place like a company like Samsung does with Knox security.

  8. Reboot your device once it’s done and take control of your Google account that’s connected with your device.
  9. You can choose to install the root checker app first, or head directly to the Google Play Store and begin installing the third-party apps you couldn’t install before.
