Xiaomi has been successfully shipping its Android handsets for some good time now, and it seems their devices are really worth buying. One of these devices is the Redmi Note. 1. Download the Root Package file to your computer.

1. Extract files from the Root Package archive to your computer. After extraction, you’ll get two new archives. Don’t extract them any further.

2. Connect your phone to your computer using a USB cable.

3. Copy RedMiNote_rootonly_rel.zip that you just extracted over to the phone storage on your device.

4. When the file’s copied, unplug your phone from your computer.

5. Launch the Updater app on your Xiaomi Redmi Note.

6. Press the Menu button and select Software update package.

7. Choose the root archive that you copied to your device in step-3. Let it flash the file on your phone.

8. When the file’s flashed, reboot your device.

9. Open the Security app, select Permissions, and enable the root-access option.

10. You now have root!
