The new firmware build, namely 12a4318c is seeding to Apple Developers as we speak and it boosts the existing iOS 8 software to beta 3. The third beta stage comes to us just three weeks after we first noticed the fruit company begin to seed beta 2. The new build is available to download for all registered iOS Dev Center participants. If you don’t have an account already it costs just under $100 to get access to the beta stages. The program is for people to find bugs and improve what is the talented workers created so far. That is a time-consuming process and the more people on the job the better.
Somehow Apple gets away with charging people a hefty sum of money for their reports. Not only do the Developers not get paid, but they have to pay fees to do Apple’s dirty work. It’s a fun process that ends with more stable operating systems come into our palms so we aren’t complaining.
The third installment comes with lots of new features including wallpaper changes, a different UI for notifications, iCloud Drive setup, iCloud Drive access, Handoff toggle and statistics on when somebody hits the delete buttons and removes a photo from the camera app. If you own the iPhone or iPad the new wallpapers are delightful for you.
The iOS 8 Beta 3 is available for iPod touch, iPad and iPhone. Existing subscribers can navigate to Settings > General > Software Update from the OS and check if it is available OTA for installing. It will come there eventually if it isn’t there already. Otherwise, people can download the files from the direct links below as long as they are already subscribed to the Dev’s center.
