By now, if you’re an American, you are well and truly aware of the Moto X as it has been out for many months. Other places in the world haven’t been so lucky. Europe in general is never a place you want to leave out of the loop, but here we are in almost mid-January and the Moto X still isn’t on sale.
That could all be about to change, though, as we have been given the news that they will launch it within the next week, and the exact date for it could be the 14th. The reason for the suspicion is that a certain few people have gone public with the event invitations. When it comes to invitation they are generally easy to pick what they are for if you know that there is a handset set to come out.
The Moto X is a mid-range Smartphone, but it packs so much inside that it is the best value for money in 2013. The same specs are coming to Europe now with a 4.7-inch AMOLED display with 720 x 1280 resolution and a dual-core 1.7 GHz Krait processor that has evolved from the Snapdragon S4 SoC.
We originally learnt that this would be a U.S exclusive device only and that overseas markets would be getting something similar but under a different name. That could have played a big role in this being such a late release date when being compared to the United States. From what we can see this is the real thing and talks from inside Google and Motorola have taken a turn as they’ve decided to release it overseas after all.
Just because it’s on its way to Europe doesn’t necessarily mean that it will be arriving in your country elsewhere, though. Europe is very big in the Smartphone market and often gets things even before the U.S. Hopefully with a bit of luck, it extends to more countries after this news because we love this phone and think that everybody should get the opportunity to enjoy it — even if it is far too late.
