Normally when we see leaks it is because certain employees have revealed all on purpose. However, now and then there comes a time when things that were meant to stay behind closed doors become revealed by accident and employees can be in a lot of trouble; this is most likely the case this time around.
A store in China has given away what the sales price will be for the Nokia Lumia 1520. Now, as you know, China’s currency is a little different from the rest of the world, but we can probably take a calculated guess now what the international prices will be.
The official amount that was shown is 4999 Yuan. If you put that into US dollars we are looking at a figure of around $820. That doesn’t necessarily mean that is what the price will be in the States, but it should come close.
The information was given to us via one of their online retail outlets which was issuing out promotional material for the handset. Unfortunately for them, it was little more than Nokia and Microsoft had bargained for.
Nokia has an event scheduled for this Tuesday where it is expected that they will show this handset to the world. The new 2520 tablets are also presumed to be coming on the same day.
This device has been given the name bandit.
